Arsenic is kind of metaloid chemical, the form like white ash, without colour and smell(because of it arsenic is world wide known on food poisoning).
Arsenic name it self come from Persian Zarnig and Greece language "arsenikon" the mean is yellow. Arsenic in everyday (beside poisoning) is used for pesticide in fruits.
Gallium Arsenide can used for semiconductor electric circuit. On medicine, arsenic have a special place, In ancient times arsenic is used for cure Syphilis, arsenic is also used on dye and paint industrial.

In everyday, our food may contains small amounts of arsenic. the save point of Arsenic in our food is less than 10 ppb(part per billion) based on WHO(World Health Organization).in addition beside arsenic became pesticide for fruits and vegetables, arsenic also can polluted the waters.

Arsenic are able to inhibit the production of ATP, the source of energy for living cells, through a variety of mechanisms.
in Krebs cycle, arsenic inhibits pyruvate dehydrogenase enzyme, so that ATP synthesis be reduced and instead increase the production of hydrogen peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is an oxidant that is highly reactive toward living cells, it is precisely the living cells that are under attack. A cell that attacked arsenic will under go necrosis and death immediately.
