Battery automatically
This circuit is have principle that
very simple. This circuit made so that not happen short circuit between supply
tense with battery that will be charged. If some people want to try to connect
direct between supply with battery then battery can be sure to be charged. But
current that flow pass through battery that be charged can’t to controlled and
if battery was full-charge then this battery will be broken if constant on
short circuit condition.
The principle of charger battery is
when the battery was empty, set on charge terminal, transistor Q1 will direct
active caused the current will flow pass through R1 and will make basis of
transistor Q1. In this condition current will charge the battery more from
collector Q1 that direct connected with positive supply terminal. Then during
charge process was continue the increase of tense on battery will increase
current that flow on basis Q2 pass through R5 10kΩ, VR1 and Diode D2. VR1 is component that used as start calibration
to determine the right direction in make plant process switching circuit. For
VR1, can use trimpot or potensio appropriate with wanted. In the first charge,
arrange potensio in position Indicator LED D3 on the off condition, and the
current that flow in to collector Q1 not bigger and not smaller.
If battery was full-charge then
indicator LED will automatically flame because increase of tense on battery
that be charged will cause increase current that flow on basis transistor Q2
and will cut the charge cycle because transistor Q1 was Cut-off caused less
current basis. Why in this condition Q1 will be less current basis it caused
almost all of current that flow in R1 10kΩ will move to diode D1 that in the logic, it connected direct with
ground because Q2 was have saturated.
