Raden Ajeng Kartini was born on April 21, 1879 in Jepara. Kartini is a woman who fight for the emancipation of women. she can raises the degree of women. she can proves that women have the same degree as men. even women can do the work being done by men. Finally she created a book about emancipation of women and the book title is "Habis Gelap Terbitlah Terang". So on every April 21, we commemorate Kartini Day. Many school are holding a festival wearing kebaya to commemorate Kartini Day.
